| Once a year we invite the winners
of our regional forums to represent their regions at our National
Session. A four-day event, the EYPUK National Session aims to provide
each delegate with a memorable experience of what EYP has to offer.
Through teambuilding and committee work delegates are given the opportunity
to make new friends and discuss issues that are important to them
in a constructive environment. Each delegation is also asked to participate
in a two-day General Assembly, where they will present a resolution
of their own making to the EYP and debate it with the assembled delegates.
We aim to make the programme diverse and thought provoking, and
as with all EYP events, the National Session is organised and run
by young people for young people. Building confidence to share ideas
and speak in front of others, fostering respect for other ideas
and beliefs and giving young people the opportunity to debate European
issues in depth, our National Session is a unique event.
The National Session is also the event at which we select two schools
to represent the UK on an international level at the autumn and
spring sessions.
